Webinars: Listen to a Pro from the Comfort of Your Home
Webinars are live events on various topics related to gesneriads. You can register anytime up until the day before the live event. Orders must be received no later than 24 hours before the live event to guarantee receipt of the link to the live session. You’ll receive your unique login link within 12 hours of the live event as well as a reminder notice one hour before the event starts. You must be present to listen to the session and may submit questions of the presenter using the question box provided. You are encouraged to access the event 15 minutes prior to the presentation to familiarize yourself with the application being used. After the live event, a link will be sent to you for online “anytime” viewing for approximately six to eight months.
Each webinar will also be available for purchase for anytime viewing for approximately six to eight months after the premiere. If you purchase the anytime option, a link will be sent you within 48 hours of your order. You will not be able to ask questions during the anytime or downloaded webinar.
All webinars will also be available for download shortly after the premiere. The downloaded webinar is an MP4 file and is Windows and Mac compatible. If you purchase a download, a link to download the file will be sent to you within 48 hours of your order. The Gesneriad Society is not responsible for the inability of a downloaded file to run on individual computers. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to resolve such issues. Downloads are not eligible for refunds; however, credits will be extended.
Please note that Internet access is required for both the live and anytime events but not to show the MP4 download. You can have as many people as you want in the room listening for any of the webinar types; external speakers are advised if there are a number of people.
Note that you cannot share any of these links with others. The unique login link will only admit one computer and the download link will only work from the email address to which it was sent.
